Control refits are an excellent cost-effective solution to extend the life of machinery that maybe isn't made anymore, or replacement just isn't feasible.

 

This machine had spent it's entire life in a corrosive environment, but was still mechanically sound and was worthy of a rebuild.  OEM components were not available, the control system was redesigned and actually made the machine more flexible than it was originally.
